e-Guard
e-Guard can help you in emergency situations when you do not have sufficient time to call or write to people who can help you. Remember to activate e-Guard when you are out in unknown areas or traveling at odd times where security is a concern. In emergency situations you simply need to shake your phone with some force to invoke the e-Guard and it will send SMS with “I am in emergency situation, please help me message” with your current location to your selected contacts. Selected contact can view your location on map by clicking on the URL included in the SMS created by e-Guard. e-Guard will also connect a call (in loud speaker mode) to one of the contacts and you can quickly talk to your near and dear one.
Please note that you need to shake your phone thrice with sufficient force to invoke the e-Guard. This will eliminate chances of false alarms in case you drop your phone or quickly pick it up. Please set up the e-Guard and try it once to be sure of how it can be used in emergency situations. Just follow the steps below and let the e-Guard run on background to guard you.
- Click on Select Emergency Contacts button to select from your phone contact, your important contacts that you would like to reach in emergency situations (max 4)
- After adding the contacts, you can chose the contact to which a call shall be connected (All contacts will receive the SMS by default)
- Activate e-Guard
- Let it run on background to guard you
