Automatic Email Virus Protection
The Email Virus Protection automatically scans all incoming and outgoing emails and associated attachments. On receipt of a virus in an email or attachment the server will send a notification email to the sender and recipient as well as to the email administrator (the email or attachment are quarantined for the administrator to manage or repair).

The Email Anti-Virus Service utilizes the third party Anti-Virus Gateway software. The service covers the installation of third party Anti-Virus software, and the binding of the software to any Mail Transfer Agent of choice. Scripts are created to enable this binding specific to each clients technical environment.

Complete anti-virus Protection for Networks
Complete anti-virus Protection includes the automatic Email Virus Protection and also includes scanning of the clients on the network. These may include, Windows 2000, NT , 9x, 3.1 and Macintosh as well as Netware, O/S2 or Unix.

Third party Anti-Virus monitors all virus entry points, including disks, programs, documents, network drives, CD-ROMs, Internet downloads, email attachments and compressed files.

The anti-virus is administered from the server and updates are pushed out to each client when available. Monthly updates are provided on CD or via the internet and one year's support is included.
