Lantana selected finalist for Top Business Solution by CeBIT AU 2012
e-Zest’s product Lantana is a finalist for the Business Award for Top Business Solutions at CeBIT Australia. e-Zest, a software services company specializing in building next generation cloud applications with integrated Mobility, BI and Social Collaboration.
Top Business Solutions Award recognizes excellence in the provision of a product or solution to customers. e-Zest applied for this award with its recently launched cloud application performance management (APM) solution – Lantana. Lantana is a disruptive APM for the customers having applications on Amazon cloud to realize value in the area of application’s elasticity assessment, spend optimization and support management.
An industry panel will be selecting the winners in the four categories of Service Distinction, Outstanding Project, Top Business Solution and Innovation. The category winners will be announced at the CeBIT Australia ICT Dinner on Wednesday 23 May 2012, held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
For getting started with Lantana, customers do not have to install or configure anything. The solution is capable of performing auto-discovery of AWS resources, auto base-lining and benchmarking, detecting level of capacity utilization and setting up alerts. It also provides a capability of monitoring and event correlation capabilities for the application support team.
Satish Agrawal, VP – Cloud Computing Practice, said, “With this solution we are trying to address the inefficiencies of monitoring and optimizing cloud application performance. Since there are no baselines and benchmarks available for application running in the cloud it is difficult to decide what action business owners, system administrators and support teams should be taking. Our solution will address all these and many more cloud application specific questions.”
