IRM is a multi-user computer, software, peripheral and problem tracking system. You can use IRM, depending on your user-level, to view, edit, and add computer systems to a database with an extensive list of fields. You can also view and post jobs if you have a problem with a computing resource.
Features:
- IRM Computer Tracking utility: This is where you store information about your various computers scattered about your organization.
- IRM Networking section: This is where you keep information about all of your networking devices.
- IRM Software section : This is where you keep information about all of your software.
- IRM tracking system : This allows you to view the jobs currently in the queue. In addition, you can click on "more info" next to any piece of tracking in order to view more detail or add followup information.
- IRM FastTrack Automatic Tracking Filler utility.
- IRM Reports : This new feature of IRM allows you to gain information on your organization as a whole. It is also the first modular section of IRM, allowing easy integration of third-party report modules.
- IRM Help Desk : This is where you can request help with a computing resource problem. The report a problem, just enter the IRM ID of the computer below. Alternately, you can report problems with entire groups of computers by selecting it below.
- IRM Setup : You can administer new users, setup various computer types and operating systems, network card brands, and (almost) everything else relating to IRM.
- IRM Preferences : This is the place to make IRM what you, and only you, want it to be. Here you can change what you see in the computers list view, as well as change your password.
- IRM Knowledge Base : This allows you to view all of the knowledge base articles that have been entered.
